From Extraction to Injection
The final step is to gently agitate the collection tube so that the platelets get thoroughly resuspended into the plasma. Once collected with a syringe, the physician injects the PRP. The patient’s own platelets then release growth factors at the site of the injury and initiate the healing cascade.
