Features & Benefits

TropoVet™ PRP, a non surgical regenerative medical treatment for Veterinary Use

The veterinary regenerative medicine market is growing, with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy leading the way. PRP is gaining traction treating osteoarthritis, soft tissue injuries, and other chronic conditions in pets and animals — offering a minimally invasive, natural healing solution. With growing owner awareness and continuous advancements in regenerative medicine, PRP therapy is becoming a go-to option for veterinarians and pet parents alike. The future of pet healthcare is bright, and PRP is at the forefront.

  • TropoVet™ PRP is an optimal choice for reducing your pet’s pain and discomfort while restoring mobility and function. PRP is widely used in veterinary medicine for treating orthopedic injuries, stomatitis, refractory corneal ulcers, wound healing, and more.

  • The TropoVet™ PRP System offers a fast, one-step platelet purification process, specially designed to yield a high platelet concentration for optimal clinical outcomes in veterinary applications.

Why TropoVet™ PRP

TropoVet™ PRP makes high concentration Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) preparation simple and reproducible. In a single spin, the system can isolate 80% (+/- 9%) of the platelets while removing the majority of red blood cells and neutrophils.

Study: PRP for Corneal Ulcers in Dogs & Cats

Aim
To evaluate the efficacy of subconjunctival autologous PRP injections in treating corneal ulcers in dogs and cats.

Methods

  • 28 animals (16 cats, 12 dogs) were enrolled.
  • PRP was prepared from each animal and administered via subconjunctival injection.
  • The number of injections was tailored based on individual healing response.
  • Clinical progress was monitored and documented throughout the study.

Results

  • Dogs: 50% achieved healing with two injections at one-week intervals.
  • Cats: 50% required three injections at one-week intervals.

Conclusion
Subconjunctival PRP injections are an effective, cost-efficient, and easily applicable treatment for corneal ulcers in dogs and cats. PRP enhances healing, with the number of injections determined by individual response rather than ulcer morphology.
